Differences between the first and the last of the Vectra's

So what exactly did the vectra lose (equipment wise) over it's 7 years of production, it appears they took things from every nook and cranny just to save a few pence.

I'll start off the list and add as you see fit..

1.Cubby hole beneath light switch
2.The front and rear cup holders
3.Rear passenger air vents
4.Rain sensing wipers
5.Auto close for the windows in the rain
6. the ability to open and close the windows via the key fob

I cant believe they removed the little cubby hole beneath the light switch. Thats were my garrage door plipper goes. I would be losr withour it.

Mines a 2004 and doesnt have the cubby hole, musta just been a 2 year run, or maybe an option?

It was removed before the estate came out..

I have a 2008 car

I have:-
the cupholders f/r
interior lights f/r
I don't have
cubby below the light switch
rain sensor (a real pain as this is very useful)
no rear airvents but even on my 7 series these were never fully utilised
rain auto close Again highly useful IMHO but without the rain sensor,,, cannot be done

My Jan 2004 53 reg Vectra had all those (Elegance trim spec)

My currect Jul 2006 06 reg Vectra has all of the above bar the cubby hole beneath the light switch (Elite trim spec)

what about the sunglasses holder as some newer ones dont have it also auto dim rear view mirror

Indirect night lighting and auto dip mirror came as an option. It was called the Sight and Light pack and included the rain sensitive wipers.

My 53 plate Vec came with a proper enclosed cubby in the right hand side of the boot. On my Father's old 55 plate it only came with the cubby door and was bare metal behind it.
Do facelifts still get rear heated foot well as they dont have rear vents?
