Seem to be a few caravanners on here, also seem to be alot of haters too

So how many of us actually have caravans or used to have one

Feel free to post your pictures in here too, i'm sure the haters will be mature enough not to start flaming

Past caravanner here. I've been caravanning since I was 3, and thats a long time ago. My mum and dad still do it, we've been all over the UK and loved it . Never owned a "van" but if I had somewhere to store one I defiantly would.
Biggest claim to fame? My dad drove over Sutton Bank(between Thirsk and Scarbourgh) with a Monza behind a 1.6 Cortina estate. This is now Banned, it was only an advisory back then.

We've had 3 Bailey Pageants but sold the last one about 3 years ago due to lack of use and the liking of long haul holidays too much.

never towed one but did static caravan as a boy. don't mind caravans on the road as long as they are considerate enough to pull into a lay-by periodically. not so much when I'm stuck behind for 50 miles and pass loads of empty lay-bys and they still don't pull in.

I've towed a large van for years. I can remember towing up a particularly steep hill in the Lake District (non-advised for caravans) right up the backside of a Renault 4 which was struggling to make it up solo. Worried the whole way up that he'd stop because I could never have restarted on the hill! Most frightening time was being overtaken by a high speed artic while I was overtaking a slower artic myself - didn't feel too stable sandwiched between them!
