    Default what a joke again

    just phoned my insurance to tell them im moving.round the corner.and that my car will now be on a drive way .my car is on a public road now.£130 more.im already paying £220 more this year.how can these ***** sleep at night .im being priced off the road.i was hoping it ot go down a little bit with it going on a drive.and its a 1 min walk from were i live now.last year £33 per month.this year £56 a month now £67 a month.sorry for the rant i just needed to get it off my chest. cheers luke

    Just do a web search, find a cheaper quote and tell them to stick their insurance. You'd defiantly think taking it off the street would make it cheaper.

    my insurance went up by an extra 50 a year this year after moving from the centre of town in cambridge(residents parking)to the more quiter parts nearer the hospital and i have my own drive way and garage now

    apparently off street parking is more at a risk of being broken into than on street where someone is more likely to spot it ....thats insurance companies for you

    luke iv had many rants about insurance this year m8 they all thieving ba**ards the lot of them

    post codes make a big difference, off the street parking saves you money. If the post code your moving to has a higher history of claims your insurance will go up. I also think that all insurance companies try and be very competitive to get your business but once they got you they dont mind inflating the profit margin for any changes - and at renewal time.

    Just got my renewal from direct line, £543 with declared mods, wheels and grill. Wasnt happy with this, tried the Internet and got Admiral same cover for £234 , bye bye direct line....
