    hey up lad and lasses,
i'm getting my car lowered on saturday, but i'm struggling to find the springs i want. i'd ideally like a 40-45mm drop, but i'm unable to find springs to accommodate this, can someone help me source them, ideally asap, cos times running out, i'm only off this weekend.
thanks very much for your helps in advance,
    mick

    ps, its a 2004 2.0dti estate

TBH I wouldn't touch Cobra springs, they are about as bad a VX springs for breaking.

Metal seems pretty thin on them

TBH the name Eibach gets bounced around alot on this site and although its only a 30mm drop they're really are perfect for the Vec

You can also see the difference in thickness of the coils compared to the OE springs

    Hi,

I know you want 45mm, but here is mine on Bil B4's, & Pi 30mm springs, & 19" alloys.

I think with 45mm I would be scraping the spoiler on very bump etc. The ride, & handling with my set-up is perfect, not to hard, just right for me, & the mileage I do.

    Cheers.
