if by rear reflectors u mean rear lights then yes u can, BUT when shining a torch on the rear lights u must have something red that reflects back. i have seen many people tint the whole of the rear lights and then buy a strip of red reflectors and stick em somewhere on the rear of the car, only then it is legal i think. hth.

I'd guess that you can, so long as your rear (red) driving lights are visable at night. Just looking out of my window and quite a few of the cars don't have rear reflectors - just lights..

All cars have rear reflectors. You need at least one but not sure if it needs to be on the off side or just anywhere. It's also an mot failure iirc.

Have a closer look... Not all cars do, thats my point. Look at night and you see nothing in the lights from another car (park your car behind another with your head lights on and their rear lights off) All you'll find is reflection off their rear lights. That's all that is needed by law. I am sure that extra reflectors are not required by law and are extra additions. (although they may be required by law after such and such a year?? - I'm willing to be educated)

My car has 2 extra reflectors (Vec C Estate) but other cars on the road have no extra reflectors, other than the rear light surrounds themselves)
So i guess he can take the rear lower reflectors off if he wants and won't be breaking any laws??
    Cheers.

the estate model probably does not have a reflector in the tail lights thats why its on the bumper, if you tint it you will have to place a reflector else where because the tint will stop the reflector from working, you will probably fail the mot and might get pulled over and finedby the police, in my opinion just leave them as is.
