How VERY dare they !

I was fishing on the river Severn yesterday and as i was packing up, a couple who were walking their dog commented to me about all the litter on the bank.
Basically they were blaming me (and all anglers) for the mess !

My reply to them was that litter can be dropped anywhere along the rivers length and get washed up amongst the bank side vegetation, so you can't blame it all on anglers. I get fed up with picking old fishing line up and taking it home to throw away as i do with other peoples litter, but i do it non the less.

Now, what really got me

happened as i was walking along the public footpath back to the car.

The couple who complained about the litter, watched their dog empty the contents of its bowels on the path and made no attempt to clean up after it !

Boy did i let them know about it back at the car park.
They just looked at me. I even offered them a plastic bag that had my litter in saying they could use that, but they loaded the dog into the car and drove away saying or doing nothing !

should have got there reg plate and reported them to councils dog control.

brain dead idiots who see someone, then blame them for a mess.

would be good to take close up photo of the carp, then photos of the dog owner's shocked faces and send these pics to the fouling finers.

Named and shamed.

For the less squeamish & brave, pick up the turd with a bag and put it on their windscreen.

as a fisherman to a fisherman would say,**** em lol let rip,im like you in ways i take all my rubbish home and if i see line on bank ill bag it and bin it myself,this way the ponds stay nice and clean for us great anglers,good river by the way river seven caught my first 8 pound barbel on there in shrewsberry
