Yes some people on Ebay do charge for you to pick items up. This is because some sellers make money off of carriage charges(which is against Ebay policy) They sell items as cheap as they can to make it look good and sell more, they pay fee's to ebay for listing and final sale price, but they don't pay fee's on the P&P. report them to Ebay if you want but on the listing he doesn't mention a £25 fee to pick up the item, id suggest that even more he's trying to make money from the Delivery charges. TBH £275 is not a bad priced for a 3+2.

Yes, aware of the low price high P&P scam, hadn't realised this was an ebay item. Proving it breaks the rules would be hard, and it's been my experience that ebay, despite all the customer fair play waffle, don't actually give a monkeys as long as they're getting their slice of the action.

Correct. I know a lot of people here call it Fleabay, but to most sellers its called Feebay because of the high charges. As you say proving it is the difficult bit.

edit: I didn't noticed the £25 charge was listed in the description, normally its stated in the postage area of the listing.
