    Default OBC problem

guys i noticed yesterday on the motorway that my fuel gauge was right next the the bottom empty and flashing yet the obc said i still had 35 miles to go.
now i know it isnt always accurate but my god thats a big difference between right and completely wrong.

    Any ideas?

the dash gauge is set that way to help prevent peeps from running out of fuel when it's sitting on red. ALWAYS read fuel from the dash gauage.

i do, but i just think its wrong that it reads so far off.
that could cause problems on a journey!

well if its normal then it doesnt matter.

Sig, thanks for pointing out the obvious, i did wonder what the fuel stations where for!

I've always found on other cars I've owned/driven the after the quarter mark the needle drops rapidly, always put it down to a built in program to force you to fill up before you actually run out.
