    Default unequal ride height

I have noticed that the tyre to arch gap on the rear is unequal the drivers side has about 50mm visible where the passenger side has only about 30mm or a little less.

The car is a 2008 with 20K miles has had no accident repairs and looking at the rear no sign of suspension work.

Any thoughts and should this be a warranty visit?

    Broken spring?

Suspension is not always covered under warranty becasue it is wear and tear. Also, vx might just say you'd hit something and bent it. Often not warranty.

either a broken passengers side spring or the drivers side shock jammed wide open.

Sounds as though it's had a replacement spring on one side and it's not been an sri one thats been fitted. There is a 15-20mm difference between the non sri and sri's suspension

Thanks for the replies I will whip it along and let a dealer have a look and see as the higher side is still lower than standard the passenger side is a bit too low for my eyes.

I have no knocks or clunks of any type from the rear however.
