lol Bob = 15 miles from Bury - you should have popped to Angel hill as well

you could have seen an apache landing in town (8am) and taking off again around 6pm - really unusual seeing hi tech miltary surrounded by old architecture = shame i was stuck in a meeting a work for most of the day and missed it

0-Large smile ......every time it's driven

was just reading on google, that in two weeks of combat exercises ("top gun" kind of thing i'm guessing) this team of raptors scored 241-2 against other aircraft that's more than the england v germany score.

plane doesn't look much different to the old F-15 though :/ especially that 2nd pic. actually, that 2nd pic LN165 is an F-15 eagle by the look of it.

shame - I live half a mile from the base.....

never forget when I took my lad to school...

f-15's, take off, go vertical, barrel roll while vertical and level off about 3 miles up and fly off into the distance.

    great to see.

I work with Raptors a few times a year

Awesome aircraft, if they could stay airborne and do their job for more than 40 mins !
