How do's all?!

I currently own a Ford Mondeo 130 TDCi, and I know, what am I doing on the Veccy forums if I'm driving one of these? Well it all started off in November last year. I had just arranged to purchase a 2005 Vectra 150 SRi for the bargain sum of £4500. I traded in my old Audi A4 to do it, but for some reason, I've always wanted the Vectra, and it seemed like a steal at that price.

...until the day before I was due to pick it up from the dealers (and pay for it), to which they told me the Swirl Valve had gone, and they couldn't sell it to me in it's current state so would be going to auction. I applaud them for not selling me a lemon, but I was beyond gutted. So I bought the next best thing on the forecourt, my 2004 Ford Mondeo. I've owned it now for a good 6 months, but I'm not happy with it. Don't get me wrong, it's a great car, but it's quite bland in my eyes.

And then 2 weeks ago I saw a Vectra again which fit the bill. All was as it was before, execpt it's a 2007 model facelift. After working out a few details with the dealer, I've agreed to trade in the Mondy and get the Vectra instead. I know some people will call me crazy for doing this, and the Mrs isn't best please that I've bought 2 cars in the space of 8 months, but if you're not happy what can you do eh

WOW, That dealer was decent, and the new ride sounds nice indeed. Welcome back from the verge of the Abyss look forward to seeing some pics soon

Welcome Matey... When i was looking for a veccy i looked for ages to find the one that i wanted that had all the odds nd ends that i wanted in... but at least you will be happy with it for a few years....
