Default New shoes for the Vectaru!

Well, Vectaru has new suspension thanks to Fast Parts (and Drinky for putting it all together for me!!) but unfortunately, in the meantime she has developed a flat tyre!! Drinky took the offending wheel to the local guys and unfortunately when they have removed the tyre (hoping for a nice quick cheap fix) the inside of the tyre is shredded and weakened. Looks as if it's been driven on flat, but definitely hasn't - sadly beyond repair.

I have loved having my Toyo Proxes, they grip like grippy things in all weathers, and I really don't want to have one odd tyre for the sake of saving cash. Unfortunately, a replacement will cost about £ and this is not a good month for unexpected payouts!!

So, the old trusty SRi wheels have been dusted down and put back on, shame because of meet at Southport tomorrow, and as she has had this happen, and the new suspension only just gone on, I havent even had a chance to drive her since Chris did the suspension

HOWEVER....................just as a teaser................the SRi wheels don't look quite the same as the last time they were on..................

..............come along to Southport tomorrow and see.................

That reminds me - better get my car washed for tomorrow! Mind you if it persists it down might not make much difference

Sorry to hear about your tyre Mrs D, the other issue I guess you will have if you just replace one tyre is it will be less worn than the opposite one on the same axle meaning you will always have to replace one on it's own ... don't know if this would cause any handling problems?

Me and the Gopher have been shining up mine for the meet tomorrow, got mine done outside, interior is a bit minging though. Started giving the wife's Astra a full detail, washed, de-bugged and tarred, clayed and 3/4 polished before the rain started Got to finish the polishing and wax it and then clean the rag top when the rain stops.
