    Default damn air freshner ...!

    hope this isnt in the wrong place but thought id post this as a little warning, for some reason i decided to hang a magic tree from my indicator stalk and it made the casing blister...not sure why but thought id let you guys know not to be as stupid as me...

    looks like you will need to take it off and get it sprayed
    you should try some of these they come in lots of flavours and sit nicely in the drinks holder that pulls out from the middle of the back seats

    There are various parts on the vectra that don,t like "chemicals". The centre consol is another one. Some parts are covered in some form of "wrap" and they are easily damaged by "chemicals" in the likes of air freshener and even suncream, as one member found when he rested his leg against the centre consol.

    thanks for the replies , im a bit gutted to be honest lol , never thought for a minute that it would cause that damage ...i will have to replace the bottom of the ignition case, will also need to make sure i use the same dash spray in future incase something doesnt agree with the plastic on the dash...

    I thought written somewhere on 99% of car air fresheners was a warning not to put it too near the dashboard because the chemicals used to make it can damage certain plastics.
