Default I want my SRi to look like this - what will I need?

Want it more like a VXR so what will I need to make it (Silver) to look like the gold Vec. and how much for each peice or total? Also wouldnt mind decorating the interior (ie. VXR leather seats, gear knob, all VXR badges inside and out). Any ideas/links on were to get each part? Thanks

This is something I did on my old Vec SRi like yours. Youve already got the wheels so ill list everything youll need to make it look like the gold car, and then a few more bits you might like.

    VXR Front Skirt
    VXR Sideskirts
    VXR Rear Skirt
    VXR Twin exit insert
    VXR bootlip spoiler
Colour coded front chrome V grille
VXR twin exit exhaust (or custom system) with trapezoidal (sp?) tail pipes

Then to take it a bit further if you wanted to...

    VXR boot badge
    VXR carbon effect dash trim
    VXR Steering wheel
VXR Gear knob (only 6 speed though)
VXR Recaro leather/half leather seats (these are not cheap though) or maybe go for a custom re-trim

Hope this helps matey and good look with transforming it, dont forget pics as well!

Ive done you some prices based on what I paid for the parts for my old SRi. Have a look back throuh my threads for some pics. I bought almost all my parts new from members on here.

    VXR Front Skirt = £140
    VXR Sideskirts - £250
    VXR Rear Skirt - £150
VXR Twin exit insert - £35 from a dealer
    VXR bootlip spoiler - £120
Colour coded front chrome V grille - £however much spraying is, just spray the one youve got, keeps costs down and looks awsome, 30 quid should do it.
VXR twin exit exhaust (or custom system) with trapezoidal (sp?) tail pipes - £350 is paid for a custom twin exit conversion from MIJ performance as part of a group buy. it had 6x4 oval pipes and sounded awsome!

Hope this is some use mate

Vehicle : Insignia VX-line RED Tourer

    Trim : No, over weight!

    Engine : Flux Core Capacitor

    Year : 1 A.D

    Mileage : Rising

You do realise that when you fit all this kit, your insurance (if you tell them) will shoot up aswell.
I'm not trying to put you off, but my insurance more than doubled when i declared all the mods on my car and i'm 42 with a clean licence !

Talk your plans over with your insurer first, you may get a shock otherwise.
