    Default Fuel Filter removal

Can anyone tell me how to get the fuel filter body out of the crash box on a 2004 1.9 120 Signum?

The haynes manual talks about using a screwdriver to release a clip but I cannot find it.

beware the black tabs that hold the fuel lines in place

otherwise its an expensive bill to get a new filter housing

i use two tools to get the filter open

    http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/s...egoryId_165469

    to hold bottom bit

    and

    http://www.diy.com/diy/jsp/bq/nav.js...&isSearch=true

    for the top bit

best £20 i spent in ages

    yes

    thats an alternative too

just as long as you can maintain good grip to move the filter lid without causing damage

thats why i use boa constrictor on lid

    cheers
