Default Carrying goods in boot be careful

    Hi all,
Decided to post this here as well as car detailing section as i think it gets more views, just to show you the damage one stupid mistake can do to your car ,and hopefully to make you think twice about what you put in your boot.i was carrying a 15 litre container of diesel in the boot ,never tied it up and it fell over the safety pin came out and the lid opened, all of the diesel emptyed out in the boot and into the footwell of the back passenger side of the car you can see i had to replace all the boot liners and the rear carpet, anyway just be careful what you put in your boot.
    All the best ,Alan

smelly stuff diesel , make sure you get it all out or you will be sniffing it for years , also it will eat into rubber and cause problems so check any wiring looms that have been contaminated .

Yep it is smelly stuff but the smell has gone it took a while cleaning and washing the boot every day. Also checked all the cables seperated them and took the tape off them to let them dry out and taped them back up.I am an electrician so i knew i had to check them.
