Help needed again guys-flashing interior lights

..............this happened to me in april and I thiught I had found the problem where my parrot was shorting a wire in the passenger fuse box, tonight its happened again..........interior lights flashing and the heating control is on and off in like 3 second intervals......ripped out parrot so it isn't anything from that, pulled out no 9 fuse in passenger compartment and the clicking and flashing stops.......but lights wont turn off manually and the doors wont lock, do you think there is another fuse down or possibly a relay........this car is getting on my tits now.....fix one thing and on comes another....as always its appreciated Andy

by the way the clicking is still there with ignition off

The BCM unit will shut down every few seconds if it detects a short on it.... Thats about all I can add

cheers plasma..........the fuses dont appear to have blown anywhere and i would have thought something would blow.............

Nope, wont pop a fuse will pop the BCM if too severe! This happened to a member on here once... I had a short on the interior lights when I was wiring in the footwell lighting and it kept shutting down the BCM until the short was removed..

erm.............strange thing is I have done nothing too it today..........except yesterday I did the third injector wiring fix..........it cant be that can it?

no mate, that comes off of the UEC under the bonnet i believe

Fuse 9 is one of three fuses for the IPC fusebox which explains why the central locking stopped working

Check things on the cigarette lighter (just the illumination side of things) if you've had anything done to that, that comes from the BCM too
Lamp in the ashtray and lamp in the glovebox too

cheers mate............had a look again and cant find anything wrong, which are the other two fuses for that .......was running sweet aswell ? cant be a damp issue can it cause we have had and we are having some really heavy rain

by the way my ciggy lighter has never lit up and i dont have an illuminated ashtray!

Fuse 7 is 30amp, feeding BCM...
Fuse 12 is 15amp feeding BCM.. as load cut off relay
