Default Exhaust Flexipipe pain in the clackers

Hi Gents. Back to plunge the great minds that frequent this site.
(Enjoyed my first trip to Billing last week and saw some great motors. great atmosphere out in the sunshine. will go regularly as I only live up the road in Wellingborough)

Last year I had the flexipipe in the front section of exhaust replaced as it blew and seemed cheaper that replacing whole section. I was told that on my 54plate the flexipipe is a fixed part of the front section which includes the cat (on later models its seperate to the cat), and is megabucks to replace. So I had a new one welded in.
Its never been the same since and I think I'm getting too much boomy vibration in the cabin from it. Its right under the dash.
Does anyone have an exhaust diagram for mine, its a 54reg CDTi 150.??
Without replacing the cat all I can think of is having a section made to fit onto the cat containing a new flexipipe??
    Anyone else have a suggestion??

    Cheers chaps
