Question Modding Advice - 2.0 Turbo Remap

    Well Here i go.

My 2.0 Turbo Sri is gonna be given a kick up the arse with a Remap. Only Problem is, there's so many companies doing different remaps, and quoting different BHP Gains, that I'm stuck which to go for.

Anybody had a Petrol Turbo remapped? Or know of any good companies to use?

I spoke to a place local to me, and they have said they will Remap, with a file specific to my car, (So not a library file) and give me rolling road before and after for £225.

This takes the BHP to 205 and N.M to 315. (approx)

Any comments or advice is welcomed!

    Thanks

BSR, Regal, MPG and TMS are just some of the top end companies to name a few. There's also DAP Performance (Developments) in Huddersfield who is ex 888.

205bhp is not enough mate.. you will get 220 from torquingbhp for a about 400 quid... if you want more bhp than that then you need to look at BSR or Maptun who can get you 230bhp+ for about 600quid ish.. Maptun can take you higher, for a price, up to about 325bhp..

Quite a fw members have had these engines remapped and will offer their experiences, but it well worth doing as the engine has so much potential

if your going to get it done it needs to be on a rolling road to set it up propperly, otherwise its just a gineric map, not all cars are the same (no dout someone will be along soon to prove me wrong)

well as per my signature, mine is mapped to just over 230bhp at the moment and ii am more than happy with the Maptun setup I have.. I will be taking it higher in the near future though and will use Maptun to take me to about 275bhp

ive got the BSR map............your 205/315 isn't a bad figure for the price of the map and 2 r/r sessions
my bsr gives me 204.and I believe it now costs about £600 and the after service is pretty pants.

    - Thanks for the reply matey.

I spoke to someone at Torquing BHP earlier today, Dunno if it was that dude who your on about, He quoted me 350 plus VAT if I go to Cambridge, or 400 plus VAT for him to come to me. Seems a little steep with the prices compared to some round here....and its so far away! It also says in your thread that you paid in the region of 300?? so thats like loads cheaper.... although that might be because Im a northerner! LoL
