Default Center section exhaust for z22se - rushy?

    Hi guys,

looking for a center section for my vec c 2.2
just wondering if a center section from a 2.0T would fit on? obviously with a bit of cutting back if needed.

its just theres more tuning center sections for the 2.0T than the z22se online and just wondering if there actually the same or not?

    cheers

The Net is larger and has no centre box. The Z22SE centre box is huge, about a metre if I remember correctly and the Z22YH has a smaller centre box. Many of the Z22 guys with the Vec B and Astra have tried the Remus Centre section with no box and soon reverted back to stock as if gave no extra power but just a drone noise. I bought a NET twin system from a breakers for £60. All the extra hangers are there, so all I really needed to do was cut the 2.2 system and clamp over the NET system. you could aways just get a system made up from a custom place, if its just a centre section then it shouldn't cost too much.

try a powerflow dealer they usually have all kinds of bends and connectors for bespoke fittings. they just dropped a 3" twin exit on my mates car and it looks very similar to the turbo vec exhaust
