    Default DPF/cat exhaust

    Hi guys
Really looking for help here fast.
Car keeps throwing up the spanner light and going on to limp mode.
Have had it into Halley's Milngavie Glasgow and have checked the code and it was the dpf code. Cleared the code but came back on so did a regeneration on the car. This is the 3rd done on the car in 7mths due to the turbo blowing in feb. Its had both glow plugs and erg valve done as well.
So they are now saying replace the Dpf which is also part of the cat.
The car is a 06(facelift) 1.9cdti vectra est and and the engine code is a Z19DT engine.
But the cost is coming in a bit steep!! like £600-800 quid steep.!!!!
So does anyone know where you can get a cheap replacement.
Bought the car in Dec and already spent £3000 on repairs and services.
Car is also used as taxi and has done 110,000 miles so do not want to spend any more money on it that i have to.
Car is getting very close to being set on fire for all the money i am spending on it.

im sure there is a pre cat attached to the manifold and the dpf is further down the system, might be there is a cat built into the dpf, but theses can be got on ebay . I have a 55 plate 120 19DT estate.

def a seperate cat bolted to the turbo manifold

and dpf are 300quid on ebay

but i would take the dpf out smash the insides out refit and then crimp over the small pipe in the engine bay to stop the warning lights cummin on again that will do for now and cost you nothing untill you buy a new dpf or get the software removed off the ecu then you wont need one and you will get better mpg and better performance
