Default Ran into the back of me and.....

    ....completely denied it !!!

OK, back to the beginning.... HOW WOULD YOU REACT....

Sat in your car, then BUMP... someone runs into the back of you (slightly, but enough to feel the bump AND put a crease in your bumper).

You get out, and look at the back of your car... the car behind is still attached (and touching) your car.

You walk up to the driver and say "you hit my car"

    She replies "No I havent"

You say "come and have a look, your car is still touching my car"

She replies "No, I'm not touching your car, I'm no-where near it"

You say "Your car is touching mine, take a look"

She replies "No, I'm not getting out of my car, because your being aggressive"

Wont get out of her car, completely denies hitting you and that you are getting aggressive ??

WHAT WOULD YOU DO.... (Oh, and wont give you her address or insurance details)

So, on with the story.... well done "installer", good guess....

So, I take out my camera phone and start taking pictures, of her car attached to mine, her registration and her.... just in case she denies even being there......

So I then dial 999 and say to her that I'm calling the Police.....

Police turn up, take her address details and mine.... she keeps denying that she hit me so I show the cops the pictures... he takes one look and says OK then, pass it on to the insurers.....

She then says, well I didnt exactly smash into the back of you did I..... So you did hit me then !!!! JESUS CHRIST !!! Arogant, Lying, Too faced...... ARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGHHHHHHHHHHH

(Thing is, I probably would have just let it go, if she had appologised and acknowledged her hitting my car)....

The stupid thing is..... is that it was in the middle of a car park with LOADS OF SHOPPERS STANDING AND STARING..... People were commenting out loud... "she has hit his car look....." - but I was so annoyed at this point, I didnt get any of their details... and because the damage was fairly light....

Just really narked that she denied hitting me, when her car was still attached to mine....

How people keep their cars in showroom condition is totally beyond me......

My car is just over 6 months old...

    1) Scratched front bumper (my fault)
    2) Scratch down nearside rear door (toe rag criminal damage)
    3) Crease in rear bumper (Dosey Woman Driver)

Not funny is it mate, i had a **** run into the back of my MkII SRi Cav a good few years and he kept say no, no ,no i did not. So i did the same, Police arrived and got his name and address. All my insurance co would say is that he won't report it to his insurance co so nothing would happen.

I was about 22 when this happened and i paid for it to get fixed, But being younger and wally like i took it out on his car and house windows - i think i left a bigger bill than the one he left me...

The things you do when your young and stupid!!!

    It's Mustang time...

Sounds like you had an interesting day Spoons .

Iím not sure if this is true or not (Iím sure I remember reading it or someone told me), but the insurance companies are not keen to accept digital pictures as evidence (I assume because they could be modified). If it is true it looks like there is still a use for 35mm film.

    Cheers

    typical woman driver

I think some people are completely lacking in common sense, to think that they can hit your car while your sitting it in, deny it and refuse to give Insurance details, anyone with half a brain knows it illegal to leave the scene without at least giving contact details.
