    Default Another CDTi "missing" question

    Hi,

Have the 120 8V CDTI on my vectra which has just started to mis-behave in that there is an occasional judder between about 1600 and 2200 RPM. I have done a good bit on searching here and have concluded it can't be the no3 injector problem as that seems only related to the 150. There is also no DPF (that I'm aware of) or swirl valve. So this leaves me:

    - EGR
    - Throttle body
    - Boost sensor.

It had a new turbo fitted at start of the year after failing at 34K miles (06) so don't think it's anything related to that and when I accelerate hard it's fine, pleanty of power.

Any thoughts? I haven't seen a how 2 on EGR for the 120 or on the throttle body. Can anyone help with this?

I chucked in some powerenhancer cleaner last night to see if that would help!

    Thanks,
    Ali.

There's no error codes logged and MIL light is out - did crankshaft sensor fault show up (ie how did they diagnose it).

    Thanks.

I believe any sensor faults are logged until erased (or so I thought) however I had my EHPS pump not start one time I got into the car and I think the spanner showed for that but after switch off / on the spanner was gone and no DTC's logged (i have an ELM tool so can check for them)

Anyway, I've not seen any faults on mine with this latest "fault". I'll maybe try and clean the EGR and see if that helps.

Yeah I don't think it's that as car accelerates fine (I only see this issue when crusing at steady speed and making small throttle adjustments if that makes sense). My experience of turbo hoses going is that when they split there is pretty much no turbo boost - I could be wrong!
