vectra vxr driveshafts

my brothers m8 is breaking his vec vxr after being rear ended, the n/s/f inner cv on my 2.0t is knackered as its knocking and causing a vibration. will the vectra vxr shafts fit?? i believe that both cars are fitted with the f40 gearbox and both have equal length shafts. just curious as i've been offered both shafts for £80 and will be far cheaper than sourcing new 1's.

I know this doesnt answer ur question,but does he still have the vxr springs if so does he want rid?

its not an answer as such but i would have thought that they would be the same thru out the range.

phone vx and give them both of the registrations
and then ask them for the part no for both driveshafts and the costs

that will give you your answer

klkl cheers, the vxr shafts look alot thicker than mine although the cv's look the same.
