    Default gearbox oil volume confusion

    Hi guys.

my gearbox has been a little notchy, so ive decided to replace the oil with something better. im thinking redline mt 90.

anyways, the owners handbook has just 1 manual box listed for both the 4cyl and the 6cyl. and it says that it only needs 1.85 litres. i dont quite trust it and am wondering if someone could confirm.

    its a 2004 vectra 3.2L

    thanks alot boys

while im at it, has anyone tried the redline mt 90? is it worth the money?
ive had success with it in older cars, but never tried it on something this sophisticated.

75w/90 synthetic will suffice and it holds 1.9 litres.

actually GL5 has additives which may be damaging to certain compounds which might be used in a gear box, like brass off the top of my head.
