    Default Navman Maps

    Ive been given a navman icn 320, its working fine and have used it the first day for 5 different destinations, and for a freebie its good!, its not new obviously and the maps are working fine but need an update, thats where the problem lies!, navman dont do them anymore so any suggestions ??.

    Yup you cant get updates for it, guess its just a way for manufacturers to sell new ones. I doubt my 320 will ever see the light of day again. My hTC Desire has Google maps on it and you get a very good sat nav with that.

    Mio have taken up the Navman stuff I was in touch recently with my T300Spirit and they could do me 2010 maps for that.

    From what i can gather from the relative that gave it me, its probably got around 2004 stuff on it as a guess!, id be happy to get it up to 06 at least but will follw any of the advise posted, 'Many thanks to any replies!

    try www.simplesatnav.com, i use a Foehn & Hirsch N30 satnav & have used iGO8 & TomTom, but am now using iGO Primo, which is miles better in many respects.

    they also have stuff for Navman satnavs on there, including map updates, worth a try

    You can't update an iCN 320 and you can't unlock it and install any other software on it, simply because iCN 320 does not run on Windows CE. Your best bet is to sell it on eBay, as many people buy those for projects, parts, etc.

    I know is sad, but Navman no longer supports iCN models.

    i kinda thought it wasnt supported any more but im sure if anyone has a sd card with newer maps than my 05 they will work, ive seen some chat about upto 09 maps that were available but havnt seen any for sale, the 05 version works great for a freebie!, but would like slightly newer maps. many thanks for the ongoing replies!!.
