    Default Dpf Regeneration

basicaly i only do short miles in my car and want to go up the motorway to basicly get my car to do the dpf regen as i want to put it up for sale and want it done before i do so basically all i want to know is how to do it as i have seen people say that u have to do it in many diffrent ways

like a 20min drive at over 3000 revs

and over people have said u have to go for a 40 mile drive at above 60

so i was basically wanting to know what is it i actually have to do

Mine does it randomly while driving quite often as I pull into a car park and have to wait ten mins before turning engine off

Question is why do you need to donor before you sell it as no one will no

If you want to give it a clean out then on a straight road drop into 2nd an floor it up to the redline that will blast out any soot resulting in a cloud of smoke like mine lol but a good hard boot cleans it out

i just want to do it before i sell it as it tried doing it the other day as i pulled into work and didnt realise and turned it of until it was to late

plus if someone buys it and then start driving up the motorway in it i dont want a phone call saying its smoking and having to explain it to them lol
