Hi, Recently got my Vectra 54plate with an after-market stereo fitted, was hoping someone could give me some information on changing it back to a standard 1 and what type (1 with least hassle please) thanks in advance.

Hmmm, you have a 2004 Vectra I see,
I presume, that this is a half can vehicle, and so you would be looking for a radio to match the screen.
Not totally obvious though, as the Vectra mnoved from half can to full in late 2004.

You would need to pop the main display screen out of your dash, and then report back with the two letter alpha code either printed on a sticker or printed on the rear casing.

This is because some head-units are not totally compatible with some screens.

I have a list of screen details, posted on the forum somewhere, but the real experts as to which screens fit which radios will be Kman or Bigmac and possibly one or two others.

The other thing to do, is to pop out your headunit, and report back about what type of connector is on the back of it.
Half can radios will have ISO connection, whereas later full can radios have a strange connector with a flip-over latch mechanism called a Quadlock.

Regarding swapping back, once you know which head-unit is required, then it will require a double din cage and also tech 2 programming into you car. (Pairing up to the screen)
