Default Not The Normal Wiper Fault....

Well the car has gone in today for a new inlet manifold... egr valve ... and the heater problems (only working on 4).... But i noticed this morning when it was raining the first time since i had the car... but wipers work on low and medium settings... but if you put it onto the highest setting its stops instantly... so its just like it tells it to switch of...

    Any Ideas....

    Thanks

.... are they connected like... i know the heater resisters have gone obviously as the heaters arent working but didnt think they would interfere with the wipers...

    Thanks

Got the same problem as op with mine... bought a new wiper motor today from vx and fitted it.. issue still exists!.... so have put back the old motor now..

Checked all the fuses... all fine...

Worring about what else the problem could be..
    Any thoughts anyone?

But our fault is the other way round... If the garage don't do anything about it then al speak to my mate who is a local vaux tech... And see what he says...

    OK. Update..

Found a fuse in the engine bay. F22.. had blown.. Replaced that, fitted the old motor and it wouldn't go faster than slow.. but I could hear it straining as it was trying to go faster but couldn't. Fitted the new motor, and after nearly severing my thumb in the process, voila.. working fine.. (although £85 worse off)

Worth checking out Fuse F22 next to the battery.
