She's been neglected for the past year (hanging up in the garage), so I thought time to sort it out. Collected it from the bike shop today after every component was stripped, cleaned, new bearings and cables etc. etc.



Yep - they are water bottle carriers!




Got Michelins on the car - gotta have them on the bike!







About to go out for a quick blast on it now!

And along with a birthday present from last week, I'm gonna be getting myself back to being super-fit again.

I don't hang around when I'm cycling, but I'm only a newbie on the blades so taking that steady at the moment. Managed to knock off a few miles on them yesterday though.

Phew! - that was fun! Bike running like an absolute dream.
Quick 3.5 miles in 10 minutes. Should be quicker once I'm fit again.

If ya meaning for blading, yep - got all the pads, just in case! I don't think I need them on a bike just yet!

I'm afraid I have got the 'dodgy' Lycra cycling shorts - it's the best thing there is. I don't, I repeat , I don't wear dodgy Lycra when blading!!

what 0-60 time did you get

Sorry - I didn't have any donuts before I went out!!!

Never even hit 60mph on a bike (60kph - yep). Fastest speed I've hit on a descent is 50mph.
