Limp mode nightmare!!

Hi Guys, really need some help, i'll start at the beginning. I brought a 1.9 cdti signum (150) a few months ago, really nice car, higher than average milage but drove fine. last month the car/spanner symbol appeared and i had limited accel/drive until i restart the ignition (this seems a popular fault as i have read in other treads) only in my case the problem got progressively worse (ie) spanner more frequent less and less power on restart. Took it to my local vauxhall specialist who done tech2, a week later, after replacing DPF, Boost sensor, Vacum monitor, and some worn pipes, I got the car back and 48hours later it was back to how it was only with a added hissing noise!!! The garage was ademant they changed parts that needed changing and when the car left it was working fine (If anyone can advise on where i stand legally i,d appericate it) But my nightmare continues I then took my car to another garage for more testing, they ended up replacing the egr valve and a regen and cleared codes. i got the car back, ran ok untill i did motorway speed, at about 70 the spanner/limpmode!!!!! Went back to the garage for more testing and they found pressure leak/crack in the intercooler, had it changed and got the car back last friday. I was suprised when i got in it and drove, it was the quickest it has ever been, but it was to good to be true! on the motorway at 70ish spanner/limp although it resets with ignition, over the weekend the power has dropped and im back to square one. Soon my only option will be main dealer ££££????? Can anyone advise please!.

the hissing noise was def a air leak but surly that would not need diagnosing as you could just check for leaks

anyways back on to the matter you say they changed the dpf why??? was it blocked and was there a fault code saying it was or have they just changed it for the sake of it

the limp mode you have now with a car and spanner on you really need to get the fault codes read so we can help as it could be anything see if a member on here near you has opcom or tech 2 to help you out once you get the fault code let us know on here and we can then help hope you get this sorted out

I checked all pipes best I could, but as well as a worn pipe, the hiss was coming small crack on the front hose from the DPF to cat. Apparently the DPF was severely blocked i dont know how they discovered it was? but I did have all the parts back that were changed. Managed to get the codes read (p2279 intake air system leak).

Anyone got any ideas???? surely theres not alot more that could need to be changed. Booked in at main dealers tomoz, just wanted to know what the problem could be, so i can brace myself ££££. I will post the outcome!.
