Hi Guys, really need some help, i'll start at the beginning. I brought a 1.9 cdti signum (150) a few months ago, really nice car, higher than average milage but drove fine. last month the car/spanner symbol appeared and i had limited accel/drive until i restart the ignition (this seems a popular fault as i have read in other treads) only in my case the problem got progressively worse (ie) spanner more frequent less and less power on restart. Took it to my local vauxhall specialist who done tech2, a week later, after replacing DPF, Boost sensor, Vacum monitor, and some worn pipes, I got the car back and 48hours later it was back to how it was only with a added hissing noise!!! The garage was ademant they changed parts that needed changing and when the car left it was working fine (If anyone can advise on where i stand legally i,d appericate it) But my nightmare continues I then took my car to another garage for more testing, they ended up replacing the egr valve and a regen and cleared codes. i got the car back, ran ok untill i did motorway speed, at about 70 the spanner/limpmode!!!!! Went back to the garage for more testing and they found pressure leak/crack in the intercooler, had it changed and got the car back last friday. I was suprised when i got in it and drove, it was the quickest it has ever been, but it was to good to be true! on the motorway at 70ish spanner/limp although it resets with ignition, over the weekend the power has dropped and im back to square one. Soon my only option will be main dealer ££££????? Can anyone advise please!.
