Default New signum 2.0 Turbo owner

    Hi All,

Just introduced myself on the SE region section but wanted to say hi here. Picked up my 56 plate Signum elegance 2.0T that had done 80k (mostly motorway miles) for £4k on sunday, it is the Black Sapphire and I ****** love it. The missus only been allowed a little drive around the car park , only got a signum on a whim as I needed a 5 door car as my baby is due in September and a big boot for the dog.

I am really impressed so far and is beating my Audi A3 hands down.

I have a quick question though the dash (dial) perspex cover has an inch crack on the right hand side does anyone know if they are easy to replace and where to purchase one? I am also keen to do some small mods myself and some (!) servicing but I really am a novice - are the haynes manuals worth getting?

Thanks All - looking forward to being part of the forum.

Just off to perv at my new car

    Tucker

hi mate and welcome to the forum from a fellow siggy owner - regarding the dials cover - pop to a breakers yard and see if you can pick one up (same as vectra c dials)- cheaper than a stealers and easy to fit

regarding the haynes manual -iirc it doesnt cover the z20net (2.0 turbo) engine - but there's an incredible wealth of knowledge on here and most problems have been experienced / overcome by someone on here
dont forget to post some piccys and enjoy the motor - i loved my black 2.0 elegance

Problems isn't the word for it. In Vauxhall garage Monday morning out Thursday afternoon and still no closer just £180 lighter and a new fuel filter.

Think our car was a faulty one as to be honest there doesn't seem to be anyone else with as many problems.

    as i said ....most

there's always one oddball .... i thought they decided your fuel pressure was an issue....even though they couldnt tell you if it was the high pressure or low pressure pump

They said it was the turbo then someone said about the diaphragm, the difference in price is about £400 so thinking of trying the diaphragm first to see if we do. Also blocking off the breather pipe and driving it seeing if it is actually getting oil come the wrong way. Or some rubbish along those lines!

Hello mate good to have another Siggy 2.0T on the books. I am loving the fact you like it better than the A3. Just in the process of starting some mods but my first one would be to de-badge it, they look sweet!

Good to have you here mate.
