After two years of claim free driving i was expecting my insurence to drop nicely this year.

Had my renewal going on to my 3rd year of driving from Aviva....its gone up by £200!!

Im 19 in a 1.9cdti (120)

I have been paying £2000 in the vectra and i was expecting it to drop to around £1200 this year. What the hells going on?

Im getting pi@@ed off with paying £200 a month for insurence.

All other companies are quoting around £2500

its time for a major rethink - call around and have a check online - there must be a cheaper option for you somewhere >>>> do you live in an accident blackspot or high risk area ?

I added my partner as a named driver and mine went down quite a lot. Do you have anyone, possibly a little older or with better NCB who could be additional driver (not main driver)

Already have, step-dad and mother....

Step dad.....49 22years without a claim...no points
Mum...........42 2years no claims.............no points

If i take them off it goes up £100 quid more!

Maybe if i go by a stupid quick little car, get myself 9 points and crash a couple of times it'll be cheaper!! Seems it works that way lol.

Tried putting everyone on a Multi Car policy with Admiral? I got some good quotes with just 2 cars on the policy.

ts gone up by £200!!. same here mate i turned 25 with 5 ncb was expecting a big drop.im paying £220 more this year.i thought hitting 25 it was going to be low.how wrong. luke

Isurance companys have lost money during this recession,and there profits are dropping as a consequence,and guess whose having to pay for it...yep thats right..you and me.

Ouch, know I'm a few years older but at 24 with full no claims and no points I got my 2.0 turbo Signum as standard was only just over £50 a month. Add the modifications and turn 25 admittedly a different company it's less than what my renewal would of been when it was standard with the previous company.

No idea what it is now as I don't pay it
