Default well thats the shortest ownership of a car ever

6 weeks was the time i had the insignia and to be honest i,m glad to see the back of it, where do i start, well when i got the car the front tyres were on back to front causing massive wobble past 60mph, then the passenger door started rattling ,then the centre console started rattling, then the rear parcel shelf started jumping about, next a really bad vibration through the floor near the pedals developed then the rear view mirror started vibrating so bad that when you looked in it it was like watching 3D tv without the glasses, then to cap it all as i was driving to work the rear view mirror actuall fell off taking my sat nav with it, so today i went back to the dealer cut my losses and traded it in for a 2008/9 audi A4 3.0tdi S line convertible, i lost 2k in the 6 weeks i owned it but it had to go

btw, cheers for the pm mav but those p/nos wont be needed now

Totally disagree, yes there are bad cars of every model. The brand new Audi A3 S-Line I bought was a pile of ****, but it doesnt mean they are all like that. Mine has been perfect, and we have 6 Insignia's in the family (+ close friends) and none of them have had one issue.

But the A4 S-Line is a nice car, I am sure you will love it!

That is so disappointing did the dealer not remedy the faults properly or offer up an exchange vehicle as the Insignia's I have driven so far have all been pretty good quality wise?

Did you not drive the car before you brought it? surely you have noticed the wobble?

As for losing 2k I for one would be getting my full monies back from the dealer if the car was as bad as you say. I cannot believe you gave up 2k............

Why did you drive it for so long with the faults,it must have been clear that something was not correct, didyou not notice there was a problem within the first few miles
Have not had any problems at all with mine, cannot praise it enough,a smooth comfy ride with plenty of power.

    What was your mileage m8?

Tbh you went for a cracking car - always fancied a 3.0TDI - great engine.

I take it you got the 240PS one? That might be my next car as the the German build is excellent in them.

Hope your new car gives you the pleasure it's predecessor didn't.
