Regular meets?

Is there a regular meet?
Is there some where special you do meet up at?...if so is it some where local to the orginser, or to the the entire south-east membership, or just to those who are active to going to events/meets?

I ask as it would be nice to meet a few people, there seems to be a very large memebership for this area. I have a couple of ideas for places to meet if your interested.

I stepped down last year for being an event organizer for another club as the membership dropped & the club turned in on itself, so have had my fingers burnt.

Hi robert the south east region has been quiet of late but keep an eye out for meets in the eastern, south east, and south central region as they usually come up about once a month ;ie next south central meet is at total vauxhall/live show at castle combe racetrack next weekend 7th aug youre welcome but you have to be quick if you want discounted tickets . pevious to that south central had a meet on 18th july and east had a meet on the 25 july so you see they do come up quite often this time of year.

Have done many major shows over the years, though there good, you can't beat meeting up with the locals, especially if it at a decent pub that does a slap up meal.
For some people going to shows is a big thing, and not up there alley, and are more likley to meet up at a local area meet, have a chat, fix a few things on there cars, and then have a good meal, and a little drive round the local roads.

If you from Essex the the Dick Turpin is a great place to meet (A127), large size car park, and a good pub, and a good menu to boot (the food is very good)....also if from the Kent area, how about the Beefeater at Wrotham just off the A20... juntion 2a M26, normalay has a few car clubs going there, RS owners club ect

Just a few ideas

Or looking at the people posting where there are....there could be a meet some where in the Medway Town area. What doe you all think?, what do the reps think?

It never hurts to have your own mini meet in the Kent area ...just run it by your R/O first .
and see if some of the locals to you want to meet up .It seems the way to go these days as a lot of members dont travel to far because of fuel costs etc etc .But as Bob said there are mini meets going on in other areas ...just depends on how far you want to travel .

[/QUOTE Hi paul well apart from Trax this coming weekend , then the next one is at pleasurewoods leisure park on 19th sept. then the next one being muted is for brighton on a undecided date after 19th sept.

Would that be Pleasurewoods Leisure Park in Lowestoft, Suffolk or some other?

Brighton may be a bit far for me for a car meet but you never know...

I,m sure Bob will have a meet at Harry's soon ...that will be a lot closer to you ..as its in slough .

we have a meet arranged in the East section at Ian Highlanders pad ...a kinda of bbq and car cleaning meet ...also to toast the newly weds..(with a cuppa tea)

A meet at harry,s has been muted , with a pre winter detailing meet being the theme . To date harry has not been approached about this mainly due to it is still supposed to be summer and with the show season still going on this has tied up our effort,s in other direction,s .
If anyone wants to come up with some new location,s for meets then i am sure that something can be arranged this applies to all region,s not just South east/South central/Eastern
