    Default Headlight polish

In need of some advice, thought here might be a good place to start. I've bought some SRI headlights to go on my Vec, but one of the lenses is quite cloudy. I'm sure I've read of people having this issue before, can anybody recommend a polish, treatment, process to try sort it out? Here's some pics to show what I'm meaning, sorry about the quality - taken on my iphone.

    Thanks in advance

Meguires do a polish called "plast x" I have not tried it but it was made to polish plastic materials. Might be worth looking into.

I would check out my post

Unfortunately didn't make the slightest bit of difference, mine seem to be beyond repair.

Whiskeyno7 got a set of Angel Eyes at Billing for a great price so if you have no luck either, perhaps go down that route as they're cheaper than OEM ones!

Thanks both. I've been wanting a machine polisher for a while, I'll give that a try.

Meguiars PlastX did wonders for my headlights - removed dirt and scratches, and polished them up nicely too.

I think i'm going to give this a go! Mine are really bad and perhaps wet and dry paper will stand a better chance of removing it.

I'm struggling to find just a 3M rubbing compound though. The ones I have actullay found available in the UK are described as 'Extra Fine' and 'Fast Cut Plus'.

Any idea which I should go for? I guess one is harsher than the other.

This is how bad mine are .....
