France Breaks ??

Hi all, can you help ?

I notice a lot of people have posted up in the past about going to France, even touring France in the Vec or Sig.

I would like to take my partner away next month for her Birthday, just a little 3/4 day break or something. No going to take the Vec (What if it got scratched ?!?!? lol), nor hire a car over there.

Anyone suggest some good value for money, not too pricey hotels that are in a nice, safe and possibly quiet area ? Just a nice area if you know what I mean lol Oh, and perhaps close to the sights, Eiffel Tower, etc

If you dont have to be near Paris then Carcassonne is a great place to visit, Ryanair fly to a nearby airport (short coach transfer and I mean only about 20mins) there are plenty of cheapish hotels even within the mediaval castle walls, from experience hiring a car is easy and driving is not a big issue as traffic is generally light. Coast is about an hour away if you do have transport.
