Need your help again in changing mirror covers???

Hi

I am trying to change my vectra c mirror covers i just cant get them off can anyone help???

this is doing my head in i know it is easy to do but i just cant do it.

angle the glass fully in then carefully with a plastic ruler pop the glass off = then you will see inside the mirror capping where there are 4 x retaining lugs - carefully pop these out and then slowly with the plastic ruler work your way around the edge of the mirror caping and it will pop off - dont forget that on the edge closest to the car there is a small round locating lug as well

if you have a new capping you will see what i mean on the 4 x lugs and how they work and where the small retianing lug is as well

Took mine off by inserting small flat screwdriver behind cover on outside edge then just popped off.

if you werent so far away mate - i would ==== i've done a few sets on

black ....green ... black .......fake chrome......irmy chrome........back to black .....then fitting irmys to the new siggy as well
