Default Steering wheel controls retro fit

Has anyone replaced the early 3 button type steering wheel mounted radio controls for the later horizontally mounted barrel type knob controls? Or does anyone with the knob type buttons have some pics and or comments about them?

    can't do it mate..

button type is 1/2 canbus cars and the scroll wheel is full canbus...a different system altogether...

the airbag connectors are also different mate..

my only gripe with the buttons is that it can take forever to wind the volume up or down unless you repeatedly press the buttons, holding it down it useless.

i've not used the scroll wheel type contols.

So does the scroll wheel Harry though harder to flick it up constantly. I normally use the big wheel thing on CD30.

    Ditto.

I also have a problem with the Left wheel. When I press it it should reset the computer. However I find the stereo often changes from Radio to CD (or Visa Verser). If there's no CD in then the radio Station changes. The lower Button on the left side should do this funtion not the wheel!

It is intermitant though. I.e. It works sometimes!
