Default Astra owners asking about dampers...

    Heya guys

I'm from the Astra Owners Network and have a question for you.

I've done some searching and found that many of you like us have lowered your cars on the Eibach Pro springs. Also however I have seen that some of you have upgraded your dampers. I'm at a stage of doing this now as my standard SRi shocks are pretty much dead and I'm thinking about some Bilstein B4 dampers or just using vauxhall shocks from the astra - but I wonder if anyone has anything to say on the eibach and bilstein combination?

    Thanks for any help guys

    James

Think everybody would say go for it.

the B4 is even it suppose to be OEM, they are way better than the standard ones.

The Vauxhall ones are not the best, B4's are much better replacements. I will be fitting B4's to my Astra Mk4 SRi with eibachs but they are currently out of stock and could be 3-4 weeks before they are back in

i fitted b6's to my old signum - the ride was firm at low speeds - but over 15mph the ride was amazing and it flattened out all of the bumps at speed and handled soo much better than the standard shocks

i managed to get mine when LMF were doing an amazing Buy one get one free offer

But would a combo of Eibach Springs and the B4 shocks make for a hard ride ?

exactly. That's the bit i'm worried about - especially with such a short wheel base like on the astra
