hi guys well we had annual airshow here in eastlothian at east fortune air field today and it was a fantastic show highlight for me was a demo of the euro fighter jet one word this plane is awsome to watch the pilot didn't half put it through its paces have a few pics but hard to take some good photos coudn't get a good one of the eurofighter though

Haven't been to an airshow for quite a few years. Love everything aviation though. I think that I'll have to take mlc junior some day.

Hope you had a great day. What I'd give to fly in a vintage piston!!!!!

i it was good paul im the same as you there is somthing facinating about watching the old planes. but as i said the euro fighter

toped it all and the shear noise of the plane

When I was a Navy ATCO I used to have a room near to the Harrier Apron. Noise is something I have heard enougth of to last me a lifetime.

(Enjoyed my fast jet flights though!!)

there was an airshow at sunderland today, I didnt actually go but me and me eldest were playing golf at a course not far from there..saw a dakota,
heard and saw a spitfire...the sound of that merlin v12.....

.brill..
and we think we saw a B17??? definatley a yank WW2 plane..it was that low you could see the insignia !!. Bet it was a good day out....

I was gona come up a run David but it looked like it was to be raining so we never bothered, that combined with the £15 each entry fee kind of put us off

Did you have a free view from your garden or did you go to the airfield ?

thats ok john. ye free view from the garden mate did sound a bit expensive to get in it would have cost us with little ones about 50 odd quid to get in

I went down to East Fortune today too - the overcast weather made it difficult to get any decent photos, but (if I've managed to load them properly) here's a few for those of you who like 'planes....

I haven't tried loading images here before, so bear with me if they are too big/small

well that puts my pics to shame lol thay are fantastic mate geat quality aswell . yiou certianly get at better veiw at the show then me veiwing it half a mile away

Ooops - they appeared a bit bigger than I intended.

I went down on the motorbike and just rode around outside the show - means you can go to different viewpoints and park without any problems at the side of the road.

I took loads of shots today (the advantage of digital) but only a few were usable, most had too much camera shake.
