Ok, decided its not worth the bother of servicing the car myself as it usually costs me more in the long run...

So, could anyone recommend a national chain who will do the job properly and not charge me the earth for a drop of oil.......

I always get the bits myself then pay a junior mechanic to carry out the work (cheaper rates, and its not rocket science). Got my last oil from tescos, it was on offer....6 litres of castrol magnatec cost me £25 and bought genuine Vauxhall service pack from a dealer that advertises on e-bay for £30, it included air/oil/fuel filters...........YOU CAN'T GO WRONG!!!
