    Default 2.0 turbo

    Hi all

Just upgraded my 20006 1.8vvti to a 2006 33,000 mile 2.0 turbo. Any way wifey and I went for a drive today and on 110 mile jurney on mixed roads the car averaged 36.8 mpg. This was a mix of average driving and what a car it turned out to be. Nice and smooth at low revs but when you do put you foot down the acceleration is fantastic. I was just wandering what mpg other members get from their cars.

    Yeah

It felt good and as I only paid £4700 for the car it makes it feel even better

Don't forget, that engine is performing with one hand tied behind its back. It has 175 BHP, but 200+ is actually what it should produce - Vauxhall used the lower power version to make sure it didn't steal sales from the more expensive 3.2 V6. Get it remapped to 210-220 and you'll love it even more.

Going to Billing yesterday on M6/M1 motorways, sat at about 68 mph in 6th on cruise, display was showing 41.5 mpg.

    That is seriously good Fil

Nick, that is an excellent price for the car, not so great for us owners though and as the guys have mentioned, a remap makes the car even better
