    Default CDTI service parts

    My vec 19cti 150 is long due a service, is there an online shop where I can get all the bits at a good price also the oil, is it 0w30 fully synthetic, or 5w30 semi?

    which are the best of these 2, for price and qaulity

    oil

    My personal preference would be a fully synthetic oil, buy the best available

    However if your car is still under warranty (a 2009 under warranty until 2012) the service will have to be performed at a VAT registered garage using OE parts
    If the car is taken in for a warranty claim and the dealership see other parts they may report this to VX subsequently requesting the service book and/or declining the claim

    best stick with 0w-30; either use vauxhall's own long life one, or look for this on the label: Vauxhall GM-LL-A-025/ GM-LL-B-025
    Castrol Edge is probably the best, but it is expensive. £49.18 from eurocarparts.

    and as above, eurocarparts have all you need.
    I'd highly recommend using a carbon pollen filter. Reduced traffic fume considerably for me.
