Default To Tint or to Blind?...

Well I decided to go for Blinds.

The pros for going the blinds were:
    - Cheaper than tinting (£85 compared to £170)
    - Easy to Fit yourself
    - Can be removed for night/winter driving
    - Reduces the abilty to see in just like tinting
    - Windows can be would down for air but screen stays in place acting as a particle/bug filter.

The down side of the blinds:
    - Visability out not as good as tint.

Here are some pics for those who are thinking about going for the blinds as well.

I got them from Ebay for £90 + £8 P& (oops more than I stated above!)

    Here is the link.

    http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Vauxhall-Vectr...item3cad16d473

I was umming and arring about the rear shades and the vertical line but to be honest I dont notice it now. The kit also comes with a carry case to stow them away when they arent in use.

The main reason I got them was I have a newborn baby girl and those stick on shades were crap. She was also in a rear facing car seet and the bright light was shinning in her face.

All in all I'm happy with it.

I like it, could get used to rear line. I like the removability of them as well. We sometimes take cats/dogs in crates in the car and wanted to keep them cooler. These would do the job nicely. I had noted Vauxhall do their own, but not sure they cover the facelift hatchback.

Gotta be the blinds. Far more practical IMO.

I've got tints but I'm humming and haring about getting a set of blinds aswell. Tints are great and keep prying eyes out but even with them when the suns belting in the young ones still get a bit grumpy with the sun in their eyes. Plus you can have the windows open with the blinds..

I might just have both FTW..
    Ken-tec FTW.
