    Default Urgent help required please!!

    Hi All,
Help needed!! I have a 2006 cdti 150bhp. Had DPF problems (blocking etc) Fault code p1901-75. The car, to the best of my knowledge has never performed its own re-gen, but I have had two forced re-gens done in 6 months of ownership.....and its blocked again.

Also, the inlet manifold is knackered, i know this needs changing. The local garage (independant vauxhall specialists) are suggesting that the damaged inlet manifold could be causing the DPF problem. Anyone got any views on this theory please???

I am desperate to get this all sorted but don't want to spend £500+ on the manifold and still be stuck with a DPF problem and the limp-mode every 5 mins.....its cracking me up now.

Finally, could anyone confirm the part numbers of the inlet manifold and the other bit needed, which powers the swirls. The engine code is Z19 DTH, as I'm going to try and source the parts myself.

    Thanks in advance

Yeah, i should have kept my 2004 sxi astra, 70k and it never missed a beat.

When you say you had the same problem, do you mean you had a blocked DPF as a result of damaged inlet manifold??.

If I know replacing the manifold will cure the DPF problem, i'll happily pay to have it done.

Nice one stevie for them numbers.

The problem I've got here is that I have seen the parts on e-bay (brand new) but the seller has listed them with different part numbers although the description given seems to suggest that they are the right parts for my car.

Don't want to be spending top money only to find that they're wrong.

Is it possible that they may be listed under another number, or are those part numbers you have given me set in stone??

Is there other manufacturers of these or will they all be genuine vauxhall bits??

I don't want no mickey mouse brand as its to expensive a job to be cutting corners!!!!!!!

100% set in stone m8 this is the replacement part numbers for the modified intake manifold because vauxhall recognised the problem so made a modified one to correct the problem, you will see this when you look at the adress i sent you,i printed this off and took it in to vauxhall and they changed mine for me because it has pictures of the problem even though it wasnt showing any fault codes, cheers steve

Make sure they are the right ones because the new ones have a better design in keeping the rod on i was told? No the dpf did not need a re gen in my car just limp mode all the time. There are some pictures on this forum somewhere showing the rods.
