    Default Haunted Veccy

Thought I'd post this to see if anyone had any ideas....

Basically I was fitting my headrest thingys last week and whilst sitting in the back, with the ign off, the passengers front window went down all by itself.....

In tesco during the week I locked up, when in, and when I came out the passenger window was down again and the alarm sounding.

Got in the car this morning, and as I opened the drivers door the passenger window went down again!

Now I know about the "hold unlock" feature on the keyfob, and that works fine and does both windows, but I rarely use it, and didn't on these occasions.

Faulty window switch? or previous owner left a ghost in there for me?

    Default eeek!

Seems like my car has more gremlins than I first thought.

Now my wipers work on intermittent, and slow, but stop in the middle of the screen when I put them on Medium or Fast?...

    Wiper motors are £75..

    damn electrics.... lol

OK. Update on the wipers scenario..

Found a fuse in the engine bay. F22.. had blown.. Replaced that, fitted the old motor and it wouldn't go faster than slow.. but I could hear it straining as it was trying to go faster but couldn't. Fitted the new motor, and after nearly severing my thumb in the process, voila.. working fine.. (although £85 worse off)

Will try out the keyfob battery.. got a spare somewhere so will give it a go.. Have cleaned the contacts on the door switches, so fingers crossed one of them will solve the problem.

    Thanks all!
