    Default Alloy Wheel Refurbishment

    Afternoon,

I've just taken a pic of one front wheel of my Vectra, (yes, they need a clean!). After being sat for 18 months in a damp garage, this has started happening to some of the spokes. My local alloy wheel re-furbisher has said that he can't sort these out due to the lack of space between some of the spokes, and suggested I get them sandblasted.

I'm just looking for opinions for what I should do and if anyone has ideas of cost to repair?

    Thanks in advance!

I thought about getting them blasted, but no idea on where to get this done or the cost. I would attempt to sand them down and repair myself, but just don't have the time at the moment.

I wouldn't use Chipsaway, from what I've seen. But saying that, being a franchise, it's down to the individual technician doing the work. Did he take the wheel(s) off the car?

He did mine, excellent job, although there is a place in Swindon that's got the kit I believe, don't know who they are though.

Just looked at Autowerks website. I remember following his WIP thread on here of him setting up his unit.

If I opt to change the wheels, (when funds allow), for some 18's or 19's, then these wheels will be put on my Cavalier V6...but if that happens they will definatly be changing colour!

That's hardly local and a price for a quick blow over, maybe give them a ring anyway.

Chris, there's a place in melksham called damage undone, he maybe able to help.
