    Default What battery?

Hello everyone. I have just bought a 2004 VX Vectra SRI 2.2 Direct. I would like to know what car battery you recommend. My Astra (i just wrote off) had a Bosch battery, this was nearly double what VX were charging for thier batteries.

    Regards

    Terry

Hello Tadpole and thank you for your reply. Do you mean 70 AH? I've had a look on the halfords site and the bosch one they do is this one http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/s...egoryId_165762
I can afford the price but it does seem a lot for a battery. When i asked VX for a battery price when i had my Astra they were quoting around £40 which was a lot cheaper than a Bosch battery. Are VX batteries good quality?

As long as the Vauxhall one your dealer will sell you is exactly the same quality as the ones fitted in the factory, then yes, they're of very good quality and will last for years. Mine is 6 years old and still performing faultlessly.

    Touch wood.
